Ariza Credit Union Celebrates 2025 Scholarship Awardees, Continuing Over Two Decades of Educational Support

(St. George’s, Grenada – September 23rd, 2025) – Ariza Credit Union proudly hosted its 2025 Scholarship Awards Ceremony, recognising a new group of talented students and reaffirming its commitment to supporting education and youth development.

Now in its 25th year, the program has positively impacted hundreds of students, helping them pursue their studies at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.  The initiative reflects Ariza’s core belief that access to education creates opportunities, builds stronger families, and shapes the future of Grenada.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ariza – Kimanii Daniel emphasized the Credit Union’s dedication education and its importance:

“Our goal is to be visionaries and champions for societal change through educational advancement.  At its very core, education gives people the opportunity to improve their lives.” Mr. Daniel also offered words of advice to the scholarship recipients “I encourage you to stick to your goals and accomplish them, be detailed, disciplined and organised”

This year’s awards were presented across four (4) key categories to fourteen (14) students:

  • Blue Ribbon Scholarship – awarded to the top CPEA performer with an Ariza Education Savings Plan.
  • Secondary School Scholarship – valued at $5,000 and distributed over five years to assist students transitioning into secondary education.
  • Joseph Bain Scholarship – a one-time EC$4,000 contribution supporting university-level studies.
  • Brighter Future – valued at EC$1,500 per student awarded to students of Ariza members starting their TAMCC journey.

In addition, Ariza recognised the children of staff members who excelled in the 2025 CPEA exams with a one-time award. 

The Board of Directors and Management extend heartfelt congratulations to all recipients, celebrating not only their academic achievements but also their resilience and potential.
