Ariza Credit Union, rebranded from the Grenada Public Service Co-operative Credit Union in 2016, is a strong, dynamic and innovative leader in the sector in Grenada and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). Since 2016, brand awareness has increased and significant growth has been achieved. 

An opportunity exists for an experienced, innovative and competent Marketing & Communications leader to build on Ariza’s solid reputation and deploy successful marketing campaigns, effectively leveraging member data as well as optimise Ariza’s digital presence and integrate social tools. 

Position: Marketing & Communications Officer

Job Summary:

Assist in developing and implementing data-driven marketing, communications and public relations plans, policies, programmes and campaigns to achieve Ariza’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities would include:

1.         Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, new markets and demand for products / services. 

2.         Assist in the development of a data-driven marketing, communications and public relations plan and budget, aligned with the organisation’s objectives.

3.         Prepare plans and budgets for various events and activities; implement strategies per the approved marketing plan.

4.         Prepare and distribute marketing material and press releases for publication.

5.         Assist in the planning and execution of advertising and promotional campaigns for products and services, using a variety of media.

6.         Organise and attend marketing and public relations activities, events, media visits and presentations, representing the Credit Union to raise brand awareness.

7.         Assist in the preparation of reports.

Requirements:

Education and Training:

1.         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field

2.         Designing and graphic skills would be an asset

3.         Project Management training would be an asset

Experience:

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Marketing and Communications.
